Focused Shockwave therapy is an amazing technology that is 1000 times more powerful than thermal ultrasound used in modern physiotherapy clinics and is the gold standard for reducing stubborn pain and accelerating recovery. This technology is used in all our treatment protocols. It emits pain free sound waves at 1500 metres a second to the afflicted area and substantially reduces stubborn pain recovery time.

The focused shockwave therapy stimulates a healing process (angiogenesis). This is the development of new blood vessels in the damaged tissues and the revitalisation of existing ones along with the disintegration of internal scar tissue. Our bodies often struggle to repair, but this process allows powerful, healing blood to reach the areas in need. It also stimulates another process called neurogenesis, which is the development of new and harmonisation of existing nerve tissue.
